Memory and connections that are formed by scent were important when the SAA Voyager loyalty programme team worked with scent specialists to create and bottle the uniquely ownable scent that best suited the Voyager brand values and cues. The scent was constructed with notes that aid in the recovery of jetlag, enhancing the customer’s experience with SAA post their flight.
When the process was complete, the next phase was designing for the other senses; touch and sight.
The packaging design had to complement this special initiative, and we took on the challenge with vigour. The result? A beautifully crafted, bespoke design that cues luxury and celebration that was a delightful surprise for Voyager’s top members.
